Why weight and breed are not enough
Two dogs of the same breed and weight can have different paw shapes. A weight estimate can narrow the choices, but an actual paw measurement is safer for the final decision.
Front and rear paws may need different sizes
Measure at least one front and one rear paw, and ideally all four. If the measurements cross a brand’s size boundary, look for boots sold in pairs or as singles.
